This policy covers the Practice JLPT website and mobile apps.

What we collect

On your device: your settings and study progress. Clear your browser data or the app's storage to erase them.
With an account: your email address, your name if your sign-in provider shares it, and your study progress. We never see your password.
If you connect Patreon: your Patreon user ID and whether you have a paid membership. Patreon never shares your payment details with us.
If you use the chat: what you write there and what the chat writes back, kept on your account so you can carry on where you left off. Each message is sent to the company whose language model answers it. Don't write anything private or identifying into it.
Analytics: aggregate data on which pages and screens are used. On the web this uses cookies, which you can block in your browser.

We don't sell your personal data. It is shared only with the service providers that store and process it for us.

Creating an account, by email or through a sign-in provider, means you agree to this policy. You can withdraw at any time by deleting your account.

Web: go to Delete your account, sign in and confirm.
App: Home → Account → Delete Account.
Email: write to hello@practicejlpt.com from your account's address. We delete within 30 days.

Deletion permanently removes your account, your progress, your email address, your chat conversation and any Patreon connection.

Practice JLPT is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
